MR. TAKABE SEI recently completed his first business trip to the Philippines since his appointment in April as the General Manager of the Machine Tools Brother Technology Center in Bangkok, Thailand.  He was accompanied by Ms. Nattee, Brother Thailand Sales Manager for Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines.

Takabe-san visited the Lionapex office in Makati as well as the LXP Showroom in Sucat, Parañaque.  He noted that the establishment of the showroom, though modest in size, is a significant first step towards expanding business in the Philippines. The showroom displays the brand-new Brother Speedio S700Xd1 Compact Machining Center and related peripheral equipment. During his meetings with LXP officials – Chairman Philip Sanvictores, President Raymond Sanvictores, GM Jojo Alcid and Service Manager Dennis Montero – Takabe-san committed to extend Brother’s full support to LXP, particularly in its sales and marketing activities revolving around the LXP Showroom.   

LXP, in turn, expressed appreciation to Takabe-san for the confidence it continues to enjoy from Brother, while looking forward to better overall business performance in the ensuring fiscal year.  Takabe-san said that together, Brother and LXP, should strive to achieve even the ambitious sales targets for the next several years, notwithstanding the strong headwinds suppressing market demand in the region and the world over.  LXP responded,  はい、お互いに頑張りましょう！ [Let’s do this together!]
