Brother Industries, Ltd. presided over the 2023 Kick-Off Meeting with the LIONAPEX Group (Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines) which was held at the Brother Technical Center in Bangkok, Thailand on April 17 and 18, 2023. The meeting aimed to set sales/service and operational goals for the Lionapex Group. In attendance were Mr. Sei Takabe and Mr. Ryoichi Nitao, incoming and outgoing General Managers of Brother Technical Center in Thailand and representatives from The Lionapex Group (Messrs. Samuel Yap for Singapore, Andrew Foo for Malaysia, Raymond Sanvictores and Gervacio ‘Jojo’ Alcid for the Philippines). Also present were Messrs. Yutaka Koizumi and Joe Pierce of Shinapex Japan. Brother TH team members were also on hand to support the meeting.
At the meeting, the participants evaluated the Group’s yearend performance, followed by discussions on Brother’s targets for 2023-2024. The discussions focused on ensuring that these targets were realistic, challenging, and aligned with respective company objectives. With clearer common goals, Brother seeks to steer its Southeast Asia market towards sustainable growth and market dominance.
Participants found the Brother 2023 Kick-Off Meeting to be insightful and productive where ideas were freely exchanged, strategies and goals firmly positioned, and the Group’s operations more closely aligned with Brother’s in pursuit of shared objectives for business growth in Malaysia, Singapore, and the Philippines.
